Darkmatter is a palette and a pile of ports, and most of it came from someone wanting it in one more app. Here's how to help.

Something looks off in a port? Open an issue in that port's repo, with a screenshot.

Theme an app that isn't on the list yet. The steps are below.

A port is a theme for one app, in its own repo under the darkmattertheme org. The contributing guide has the details.

Check it doesn't exist
Look through the ports and the open port requests.

Request it (optional)
Open a Port Request to talk it through, or if you'd like someone else to build it.

Start from the template
Create a repo on your account from darkmattertheme/template.

Build the theme
Use only palette colors, and keep Ember for what the eye should land on.

Submit it for review
Open a Port Review with a link to your repo and a screenshot.

Move it into the org
Once it's approved, transfer the repo to darkmattertheme. You stay on as a maintainer.

List it
Add the port to ports.json in the core repo. It shows up here on the next build.
